Child Trends and the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) are conducting a statewide, online survey for Maryland childcare workers. This survey will provide a complete picture of the state’s talented and diverse childcare workforce. The survey will ask about workers’ backgrounds in early childhood education, professional development needs and preferences, compensation, and well-being. The survey also examines directors’ and FCC providers’ perspectives on the Maryland Child Care Scholarship program.
Those who complete the survey will be entered into a weekly lottery for a chance to win one of 200 $50 e-gift cards. Those who complete the survey will also be invited to participate in a phone interview or focus group to share further details about their experience and receive additional incentives. MSCCA is partnering with Child Trends and MSDE on these incentives.
The final day to complete the survey is 12/31/2024.
