MSCCA needs your voice! We are asking for your help with an action alert to restore the child care credentialing program on July 1, 2025, and save the child care scholarship program set to pause/freeze, due to budget constraints, in May 2025. Additionally, the reimbursement rates may be reduced to the 60th percentile, however, the state will increase the market rates to help offset the decrease. All children enrolled in the scholarship program will stay fully funded, but no new families will be admitted as we work to find more funding for this critical program. This freeze hurts families, children, and childcare providers/programs.
Remember – We must ensure the child care credential program, with bonuses and training funds, is fully restored in the state supplemental budget and must be reopened by July 1, 2025, for you to participate to receive bonuses and training money!
