Randi Albertsen – Speaker

Randi Albertsen has a B.S degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola College in Maryland.
Ms. Albertsen has worked in early childhood settings for over 25 years. Ms. Albertsen’s experience ranges from school age care group leader, childcare center senior staff, family childcare provider, and public school Kindergarten and third grade teacher. For the past 16 years, Ms. Albertsen has been a licensed trainer in Maryland. Ms. Albertsen owns Innovations in Education, LLC.
Her company provides training and consulting services to the early childhood community. Ms. Albertsen is also a curriculum developer and serves as a coach and mentor to providers and program administrators. Ms. Albertsen has also served as a validator for the Maryland State Department of Education’s accreditation program. She is also a certified Parenting Counts trainer.
Ms. Albertsen has served on a variety of statewide committees to support the development and implementation of Maryland’s Race to the Top Early Learning Challenge grant. As an adjunct faculty member of Howard Community College, Ms. Albertsen helps to prepare future teachers for success in the early childhood field.
